No. Mental illness is not a crime.

should we christians get a petition going making all non christians a mental illness punishable by time in the funny farm?

I'd like to see that happen, really I would. I'm sure the following has some meaning to you and your religion and religious texts: "Judge not less than ye be judged!"

I'm not defending christianity, just think a little more about what you are asking.

No my dear you non-Christians should figure out exactly what it is you actually are and then spend your time and efforts pursuing that area as opposed to worrying all the time about those of us who are Christians. i personally don't need to go to a "funny" farm. I am a very well adjusted ADULT with a professional career, a happy well adjusted married son, a wonderful life, and am the extremely sane.
My belief and faith in the Lord has made my life so much easier even in times of trouble the Lord has kept his Biblical promises and has been my rock and my strength. If I hadn't had my faith in Christ then I would not have been able to hold up under the recent death of my precious mother this past year.
Also please grow up and not refer to mental institutions as the "funny" farm. There are many people who are mentally ill by no fault of their own and their disease process is certainly not funny in any way. I am a registered nurse an have cared for many mentally ill people. It is really sad that people still refer to them as needing to be on a "funny" farm.
Good luck in your search for some sort of meaning to your life. I will pray for you.
God Bless.

Since this question is ridiculous I want to answer your other one that expired before I could submit it.
Christians are against discrimination. What answer are you talking about? We are all Gods children and he is not going to pick favorites no more than I am going choose between my children. Some people even Christians can become misguided. It is not our place to judge only Gods my friend. Does calling us bigots make you any better than the person you are angry at? No. But you are not any worse either. I think you know there is a God and that Christ lived. Granted the bible has been poorly translated over the years but spirituality does exist and I bet when you finish your quest you will discover that for yourself.

Why are you so negative? Christian beliefs are not a mental illness...neither is seeing auras as you just have expressed 'interest' in a previous question.( although some would say that seeing auras is a illness..sometimes it is)
You say that I have a Black Aura?
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AivOzQVl1.0H91r.KriSlHfsy6IX?qid=20060630084944AAGKT96
Possibly you are seeing your own true self in others.
Black aura indicates...negativity! Negativity towards me and towards my Christian beliefs for some reason.(I imagine I don't know why else you don't like me)
I was a Pagan before I was a Christian and I know about Auras. Auras are not about Biased opinions at all.If you apparently let your own opinions cloud your view, you can't see properly.
**People that search for darkness will find it, but they will find it in themselves above all.

Go tell a psychiatrist that you see black auras around people that you don't like, tell them about the cloud of darkness that you create around people that you don't know, but don't like. Tell them that you want to punish mental illnesses and that Christianity is a mental illness.

Just because you don't agree with someone, or some belief form it doesn't mean you can go around making it a mental illness.

You could start a petition if you liked but I don't see how Christianity is a mental illness. That's just ... . Anyway, it's call. Free country.

What we should do is ask the question on those electronic voting ballots. If a person hits "yes" they are a Christian, their vote shouldn't count. Only sane people should have the right elect leaders. Look at how Christians ruined this country by electing Bush.

Not unless they step out of the boundaries of our laws. Unless, of course, you are willing to put up a petition making those who claim to be angels and threatening others punishable by the same means?

What is wrong with Christianity by the way?
Ah maybe the Christians ---- they aren't very Christian after all.

If it is a mental illness aren't we suppose to help them--- I mean to go back to reality. That would be a more Christian thing to do.
