If they have any sort of sexual relationship, he has most likely broken the law and can serve time for statuatory rape (probably depends on the state, as to the extent of things).
Yes, of course she is infatuated. What girl wouldn't be, having a guy pick her over his wife -- a guy who then buys her whatever she wants?
He's just using her, though, to stroke his ego or get the attention / physical relationship he is not getting from his wife. Your friend demands no level of responsibility from this guy, she's just happy to take whatever he gives her and considers it "good."
He's more than twice her age. She's the age of his daughter, potentially, if he had one young... (his DAUGHTER). Doesn't that sound rather strange... and a little disturbing?
Anyway, she enjoys the attention, and she might feel madly "in love" in response to his attention... but he's just using her, she's hurting this guy's wife (as the "other woman"), and she's going to get herself in a heap of trouble -- if not pregnant and abandoned, then emotionally destroyed when he moves on.

In all honesty that guy has a problem with lust seriously because anytime a 39 year old man wants a 15 year old girl that is disturbing and he has a problem with his being and even a maturity level obviously of a 15 year old, but for your friend let her know all it can do is hurt her in the long run because it will leave her empty and another is as humans we fail to realize that we all will reap what we sow and it wont always happen that way we think or expect also let her know that is not Love and never will be love and someone needs to call the police on that dude...

what concerns me more, is you absolute lack of basic grammatic skills. this is not merely sloppy typing, you really don't know how to speak. THIS IS NOT GOOD FOR YOU. Your voice is how you tell the world who you are...if you can't speak clearly, how will they ever know?
I'm not saying this to be mean or spiteful, but to give you a wakeup call, that you NEED to pay more attention in english/reading class. A good vocabulary is essential to making it in the world. This man sounds way too old for your friend, does this man has no morals to make things worse he is married. It seems as though your friend likes when this man buys her things and this is his way of keeping your friend with him (sugar daddy), its funny how some people stay together out of convince, your friend gets her goodies, and the 39 yr old man gets his young little play thing, because i don't think he is serious to that extent, he has a wife who he is still with. Some guys like younger girls & think they're "easy." I don't think she should go out with him, especially since he is married!! If he has cheated on his wife with her, I wonder if he has more than one girlfriend? Maybe your friend has had problems with her own father, like maybe he was not there for her enough, and she thinks the boyfriend is a good male figure.
I'm 24 and I would not go out with anyone who is 39.
