My 3yr old son's favourite joke is:

How do trees count?
One, two, tree.

Hilarious, I know.

We continued it like this: four, five, sticks, seven, eight, vine....

As you can, our punning abilities were waning toward the end. Can anyone continue the tree-themed series for us? Points will be awarded for the very worst puns.

This is a wonderful branch of mathematics which has been overlooked by the barking mad and saps! I am quite frond of it myself!

I wood like to help, in my own lumbering way.

I must point out, though, that you have overlooked the base of the tree... many of which are angular. You know, the square roots... but most 3-yr olds aren't really up on those, are they? Well, it is kind of an old saw...

Cone, two, tree, forest, five, sticks, seven, seven (this seven "willow" you one), eight, vine, tendril, elmleven.... (and because the numbers have to grow from something)... twiggy-nine, dirty, dirty-one....

Perhaps my dogwood count higher, but for now... I'm stumped.
