Yep, if you're going domestically by car, you don't need to do anything but make sure that you have plenty of time to stop and let it go out and water it. YOu may not want to feed it that day utnil you reach your destination, because it may get carsick on a long trip. As far as by plane, most airlines, if the dog will fit in a carrier under the seat in front of you, you can carry it on with you. Otherwise they make you put it in the cargo hold, and because the temperature is not controlled down there, it can get very hot or very cold. There are times of the year that they will not carry pets down there. Call the airline and they'll let you know what all you need to do. But ALWAYS carry a shot record with you.

Are you travelling abroad? If you are you need a Pet Passport. It takes about 6 months to set up and your vet will have all the details.

depends on where you are going. You have to procure a passport to the dog and it has to be vaccinated against rabbies. If you are going abroad it's a longer procedure. You might have to take a blood test. Consult the vet.

are going by plane or car or train or boat?

if you are going by car it is the only thing you do not need to prove the health of the pet.
