Do you think "I want the joy of the Lord in my life" is really a worship song?

We sang that song during worship yesterday, but I didn't feel like we were worshipping. To me, worship is proclaiming God's greatness not saying "I want" again and again. What do you think?

If you want the joy of the Lord in your life you are inviting God into your life so I think it is a worship song. Man has to open the door to the Lord for the Lord to come into the man and sup with him.
