Put in a hot wire. I have 2 lab mix dogs that go under the fence. Once they learn that the wire is hot they usually leave it alone.... mine wont go within a few feet of theirs. You could run it on top of the fence or maybe alittle away from the fence so that he couldn't get close enough to it to go over, Though the top would probably be the best. If you have a large dog you may have to use a stronger box, they sell them with a shock strength for dogs but i use one that is strong enough for goats and horses with no bad effects on my dogs. And the best thing is that they arnt overly pricey like an under-ground fence would be. Good luck~!!!

I bought a electric fence charger. You can find them at farm stores or hardware stores. You will have to run the wire around the bottom and top of your fence. After you have it set up and plugged in, your dog will probably not touch it more then once and will stop coming close enough to the fence to jump over it. I only had mine turned on for about 1 week and even though I do not have it on anymore my dogs don't jump the fence. You will more then likely only need the smallest charger they have. Depending on how large your dog is.

I have a dog that does that, and there's nothing that you can do. You can maybe tie it to a stake in the yard, but that's it, unless you stay outside the fence and punish it when it jumps over.
