no.. actually egg doesn't get absorbed into our body when it is raw. and it can also cause food poisoning. have it after cooking. also if you want to include lots of protiens in your diet, have lean meat( after removing the fat and skin) and milk and its products. also have lots of pulses like beans and soya..

If the eggs are super fresh and from a reputable source you should be OK. Just don't have too many as eggs are quite high in cholesterol I believe. I wouldn't advise it though - why don't you have them as scrambled egg - still get the protein, don't need to worry about salmonella.

Yes I have at least 3 raw eggs ever morning and have for the last 3 years. The hype about salmonella is just that hype!

If you have a good hunger you can drink raw eggs otherwise it will cause food poisoning.
In my youth hood i was exercising and drinking raw eggs at morning.

Never consume raw eggs - a high proportion of egggs (especially typical suepermarket eggs) are likely to have some type of contaminating microorganisms - all egs should only be consumed after being cooked to above 65degree centigrade throughout.

NO! There are Egg Products(pasteurized) now that are meant to be used raw. But regular raw eggs are dangerous to your health.

Go ahead and eat them raw, they're fine... you've as much chance of getting salmonella from them as you have of being run over on your way to work... too much scare-mongering going on here

I think it is a better source of salmonella. It really isn't a great idea. Protein shakes would probably work much better, and taste better too!
