No problemo here. My favorite posting the other day was "the zombie, Jesus". I had never heard it put like that and thought the posting person was funny and clever. If you think about it from that perspective, Jesus really was a zombie, raised from the dead.
Going to hell is a deep theological question that involves more than just making fun of what other people believe. And, I don't believe you really want to hear about it.
But, party? Why not? There are too many christians who do not enjoy life along the way.
Limbo? How low can you go? Oh! You mean the place after life where you neither go to heaven or hell :o). I don't know. But, if there is a place of limbo, it sure might explain why there are so many ghost encounters :o) Have a great day!

One of the greatest deceits that happens today is that Satan makes people believe that he does not exist along with hell. However hell is a very real place and Satan does not care for you at all. He is like the person in the business world that will use anyone and anything to get to the top and give you some empty promise about when he gets there, that he will not be able to deliver on. How sad that you simply think hell is going to be where the party is when that will be Heaven. So if you must make fun of whatever you want, however I would give more serious thought to where you want to spend eternity beforing chuckling at the truth of God.

God gave us a sense of humour. There are many silly things in the Bible....like the man with the talking donkey. He never even appears to wonder why the beast is speaking to him. I always wonder about the animal excrement in the ark... it's never mentionned. Hmmm. Imagine the smell...hehe.
My dad was a minister and he had a great sense of humour. He told alot of church jokes. There are plenty of clean religious jokes.
If you believe in the LORD Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour there is assurance that your sins, even making fun of the Bible, will be forgiven if only you confess and claim the forgiveness offered by the blood He shed.
Hell will not be a party, in spite of what many people think. You will be alone without God and without your buddies. It will not be fun. And after the Rapture, Hell will be thrown into the Lake of Fire, where all in Hell will burn eternally, thirst is never quenched and the worm dieth not. Total separation. You will suffer alone.
Choose you this day whom ye will serve; ... but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

You can make fun of anything you want. That is one of the best things about Christianity. You have a choice. To believe or not to believe. The thing that sends you to hell is not being saved from it. So go ahead. Laugh it up. Will it be funny on judgment day? Don't think so.
Sidebar:
All you people who put us Christians down. Call us nuts and such. I have one comment. If what I believe is not true, then when I die nothing will happen, I was wrong end of story. But how will you feel if you are wrong? Think about it. I rather be wrong and there be no God, than be wrong and there is.
God Bless

You can make fun all you like. That is your choice. There is only one sin that man/woman cannot get forgiveness for and that is blaspheming the Holy Spirit. I won't say that it would be an intelligent decision. After all, on judgment day, will you be able to stand up for it? I assume that since you addressed this question to "Christians" and said "make fun" and called the things of God "silly" that you are not a Christian. Well that's your choice to. Jesus said if you are ashamed to own me before men on earth, I will be ashamed to own you before my Father in Heaven. On that day, every knee shall bow and every tongue must confess that He is Lord. And by the way, practice walking on fire. Because if you don't change your ways, you will need the skill on the burning fires of HELL. May God Bless

Well fun is good! but the Bible is a holy book and therefore like all other holy books should be respected. It is meant to be read and i encourage you to read and excercise faith in the words in them.
However there is no hellfire, limbo, party for those who make fun of the things in the bible. The God opf the Bible jehovah is not a wicked god that torment people in hellfire for eternity. The Bible clearly states that the soul dies not that the soul suffer after death.

The true God of the Bible does seem to have a sense of humor. Some biblical texts require an understanding of the humor to get what God is saying to us. See 1 Kings 18:27-38. Here Elijah makes fun of the Baal priests who worshiped their false gods. Note when he says in verse 27, "Is your god busy?" This likely implied a deeper meaning like, "Is your god on the toilet!"
Aside from humor, eternal life with the the LORD is of the utmost importance since this short life is temporal compared to heaven or hell which is everlasting. (Some things are serious!) The salvation you should desire is only achieved by faith in Jesus' sacrifice for you. That faith comes from God's Holy spirit. Seek and you will find. If you do not seek then you really do not really desire it. God's love is irresistible if you are one of his children. He changes the desires of our heart. Making fun is OK when when you are in the right. And we all should be able to laugh at ourselves. Life and religion are often funny!

Make fun of anything you want (if you're doing it simple out of good humor rather than being condescending).
I think people who can't laugh in general at themselves are taking themselves far too seriously, and there's definitely some funny events / ideas recorded in the Bible.
"The Wittenburg Door" Magazine bills itself as "the world's pretty much only religious satire magazine" and is run by Christians who take Jesus' commands to help the needy and unfortunate very seriously, yet also have created an insightful satire magazine about many aspects of the faith or how people practice it. A wide range of people (of various religious persuasions) contribute, so you'll find a range of humor inside, as well as some very insightful interviews with a variety of people who you not expect to see.
Maybe you'd enjoy it.
