Why do women put up with men using them? They move in with a guy and even have children and the guy doesn't even have to marry them or anything. Don't they value themselves a little more than that? Living together isn't the same as being married. THey say they don't need a piece of paper. Well would you want a doctor operating on you that didn't get his license? A driver's license is only a card too and it doens't determine how well you drive but it is the law. Why are you afraid of a marriage license? People seem to go into relationships with plans on it ending. If they have a bad marriage, they avoid another marriage but at the same time if they take risks in other things everyday and if they get hurt, they try again, but with marriage, they just give up. What is with people?

good points. have you ever heard the saying "why buy the cow if you can get the milk for free?". it was a pretty common saying back in the 50's and early 60's. translated it meant for the girl not to have sex with a boy before marrage because if she did she may not get married.
then the late 60's showed up and everyone was all about sex, drugs and rock-n-roll. people still got married but not as young and usually neither partner was a virgin.
now people have sex on the third date and desperate women move in at the drop of a hat. they do all the jobs of a wife but without the paper. so she has his kids and raises them and he drops dead. well guess what happens now, she is on her own. no marrage license meand no social security survivor benefits because she isn't his wife. no social security for her later either because she didn't work. then she cries that it isn't fair, when she created the situation all by herself.

Because these type of women crave the attention and would do anything to get it. These women need to feel wanted, loved etc... and would do anything to get it from a guy. To some women and men "marriage" seems forever and can't seem to commit.

Co-habiting is equal to being married.It is a commitment to one another.you sound though you have serious issues.People can spend years and years together in this manner.yet look at divorce rates.as soon as rings are exchanged everything starts to go downhill.look at both statistics.co-habitees are more successfull,marriages collapse all the time.

you are not seriously comparing a marriage license to a medical degree? or a driver's license? what does marriage have to do with it if they are happy...and if they are unhappy, then marriage doesn't change that...to each his own...
