The answer is, "no," God doesn't -- at this time -- require that such a man be "put to death."
Neither Christians nor Jews (Messianic or otherwise) are under the Old Covenant anymore. God "divorced" all Israel in Jeremiah 3, due to their adultry (i.e. the worship of other gods before the One, True God) and failure to follow His laws. Yet, In Jeremiah 31:31, God advises that, some day, He will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and Judah (and by extension, believing Gentiles). It is under this new covenant that believing Christians and Messianic Jews operate today.
The only function of the 613 laws given through Moses are to show unbelievers they are in need of a Savior; and to show new believers the rules of conduct God expects to see. After a Christian or Messianic Jew learns these expectations, he or she is freed from all aspects of the law -- but this doesn't give a believer the freedom to sin.
While the New Covenant still bans homosexual behavior, nowhere does it state the mere wearing of clothing meant for the opposite sex is a sin. If this were the case, I'd be in sin right now because I'm wearing pants. Yet, there are some Christian sects (I won't name any, because it is not my intent to condemn) which don't understand this Old Covenent/New Covenent transition, and seek to keep many of the old, inapplicable laws.
Instead of God placing His emphasis on the following of rules, God is now concerned with the underlying motivation for our behavior; He expects that His will is written on the hearts of His people and this will guide our every action. If we cross-dress in order to achieve a homosexual pleasure, this is sinful. If we "cross-dress" for convenience (ex.: women wearing pants), there is nothing in the Bible that prohibits this, because the motivation is not one of evil.
Because we're now under the new covenant, God does not authorize us to exact "justice" by stoning a person to death for an actual (or perceived) transgression of the law. Actually, a strict reading of the Mosaic Law should lead one to conclude that NO ONE was qualified to stone another person to death ... but that's another topic.

No one...not even the ppl that wrote the story's and versus in the bible ever saw God. They may have met Jesus (some of them) so where did they get this info. Oh, I forgot...the bible was made for an explanation of life and a set of life living standards for humans. It was written thousands of years ago by people who loved to jot down their opinions and make them Davine rule and say it was from the mouth of someone (god) who they have never met or socialized with.
C'mon man! Why are people taking the Bible soooo literally!

If your father is wearing your mothers clothing I feel sorry for you if it is upsetting you. Recently a person I know whose husband liked cross dressing in ladies clothing decided to have his willy cut of. I think this must affect his 2 boys who are about 11 and 13 as they are old enough to understand and would be teased at school. Some people are just plain selfish and self centred. Sorry your father is one of these people. It is not your fault or your mothers fault, your father is sick mentally and should see a good doctor or priest.

That's right, God hates homosexuality, but He doesn't hate homosexuals. He loves them infinitely despite what they do. If they repent and accept Jesus as their saviour, they will become "children of God, children born not of natural decent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God." (John 1:12, 13)

It depends for which reason he is wearing the clothes of your mum! I know an Indian actor who is christian. He asked this question - if in a film I have to bow down before an idol, will God punish me? This his pastor told him that no, because it is his job, and that in doing so, God is not replaced in his heart! SAVED BY GRACE

Go easy on "Cheese". He's apparently looking for some guidance. His father wore his mother's clothes and he's had a very difficult time dealing with it.
You don't have to kill you dad, Cheese. And just because you father's a crossdresser doesn't mean that you'll be one too.

Yes but by that same reasoning if you are not eating kosher than you should be put to death too for your "uncleanliness"
The New Testament was given to us to provide a different road to salvation for Christians... instead of being forced into following a bunch of rules we are merely taught to repent from our sins and to treat our enimies as our brothers and our neighbors as ourselves and embrace Jesus Christ as our Savior and Redeemer...
But yes, if a Jewish man wore woman's clothes, per their religion, he should be put to death.
(But of course they don't do this... anymore)

Who are you to judge anyone? Not all cross dressers engage in sex with the same gender. Stop judging people and just keep up with your own actions, for to me, that is the bigger sin.
