Your dog follows you cuz he or she has a problem with being left alone. remember when you were a little kid , I bet you followed your parents around for quite sometime. Dogs are the same way especially considering in human terms they dont grow past the age of 5 yrs, there like kids all the time. They want to be with their papa or mama. My dog does the same thing, He dosent want to miss out on the excitement that special time he or she gets to spend with you. Thats why they call dogs, Mans best friend.

If you mean "Why does my dog follow me everywhere?" it's because your dog looks up to you as the leader of the pack. He (or she) is bonded to you, loves you, and wants to be with you. If it is a dog you have recently acquired, it may also feel insecure and wants to be sure you will not abandon it. Usually this wears off as the dog settles into the routine of its new home.

Dogs are pack animals and love to be with their pack which is you. Some dogs are worse than others at following people around but thats why they do it

I have had my dog for a month now and he still follows me even if there are people here. My Mother lives with me. i feel bad because he is sleeping and if I leave the room for one moment he gets up and follows.
