Who would you say is the most promising boxer at the moment?

Here in the UK we have Amir Khan. He's good but i don't think good enough to win a world crown.

Anyone else have any predictions on up and coming boxers throughout the world

There are a lot of promising boxers out there. Sometimes it's hard to say who's promising and who's already fulfilled his promise. But since you mentioned Amir Khan, I'll have to say a few words for my boy Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. who could take him out. Junior's very calm in the ring, and his style is developing well. I can't single out any one punch in particular because they all look great. He still has a lot to work on, I'm sure, but I expect great things from him. ;D

Amir would get my vote in the UK but the lightweight Kevin Mitchell is a very close second.

Manny Pacquiao is the most promising boxer now because he is young and powerful. He has defeated all the lightweights like Morales, Barrera, Larios and decked Marquez three times in their fight.

Anthony Peterson. He just won a title, and he is a very good boxer. He has the necessary attitude, skills, and talent along with a great life story. Very exciting to watch.

When you say promising, I'm thinking young solid fighter who has yet to reach his full potential. I like Miguel Cotto. Sorta reminds me of a young Trinidad but thicker. Gets hit a lot ; still makes mistakes, but finds ways to win. He will be a great one.

I'm biased...but I would have to say Tom Zbikowski. I love Notre Dame and would cheer for him even if he wasn't good...but you have to admit, he's been pretty impressive thus far.
