I prefer 'woman' for reasons having nothing to with whether I am naughty or nice. 'Lady' is a title of nobility, and in particular in Polish (the local language where I am), the word is simply the feminine of 'lord', and is basically a required form of address to anyone you are not very close to.
Which is very nice except that I only want one Person in my life to have any such title(*). So I tell everyone that I'm ever going to see again here not to use it with me. Which can make things awkward. I've had to learn to speak 'impersonally' so as not to be overly familiar, and at the same time give proper honor to The Lord. But I think it's worth the effort...

Ladies are quiet and demure. They speak when spoken to and they follow the rules. They are elegant, never trashy, and they know how to look happy even when they aren't.
Women are self-assured and confident. The speak when they have something to say and they have their own rule books. They don't mind going out of the house without make-up on, and if they are pissed off, they tell you about it.
I am a woman. I've never been a lady... it's just not my style.

In my instance...the both are one and the same. Regardless of my
circumstance(s), situation(s), attire, etc...
In terms of sexuality or what you refer to as "naughty": I am perfectly mannered in public...do not flirt, dress scantily, or behave
in any way that would give the impression that I am on the prowl.
BUT in the privacy of our home, and especially in the area of sex-
my behavior at times is the total opposite! This lady can be a Tramp!

ladies are the thing of the 1800's. If you dont act like all those counts and princes Then dont expect us to act like their countesses and perfect Ladies. Women today are nothing more than that - women. not perfect. just trying to survive. the world has changed - we no longer have the luxury of being Jane Austen's characters who sit leisurely at their mansions and worry about balls and parties and what to wear to an Outing. LOL
get real

To me a Woman is a female that has matured and is ready to blossom. A lady is a woman who has blossomed into someone with morals, ethics and respects herself as well as her body. I consider myself a lady now but at one time did not demand respect and cant claim to have been one then!!!

Being a "lady" has to do with behavior. A lady conducts herself with grace and decorum in public.
A woman is a grown up girl. She can be a lady, a sl-t or any myriad of things. It has nothing to do with choice, but with gender.

I've always considered myself a lady, my husband says I'm a lady. I've always thought of a woman as an older lady(older than myself that is).

I think there are times to be a lady, like when I go to work or out to a nice restaurant. Then there are times to be all woman, like when we're home foolin around on the couch...
