i told him a month in advance that i really wanted to spend the 4th with him cause last year when we first met we didn't get to... now that we've been together for a year i thought it would be fun to bbq & drink all day- but i feel as if something better comes up, he always blows me off... would you be mad? i already confronted him and he claims its not true... am i being to easy-going with him? thank you sooo much for your help!

Yes i would be very mad! you have a right to be mad cos you already told him you wanted to spend the day with him but instead he just left you and went camping. what's more important you or camping? If he always blows you off for other things especially when you already made plans with him then he's a jerk.and it's rude he sounds really unreliable
