Men are programed to procreate and women are programed to be a care giver. Just like men are programmed to protect and control where a women are programmed for detail. It takes the drives from both man and woman to have balance. If both male and female were programed to procreate that would be a mess. If both was programmed to protect we would kill each other out.

That's an easy answer. Guys are ALWAYS ready for sex. Women tend to be more choosy. So, when a woman wants to get laid she can just come onto the guy and he's ready to go. However, when a guy just comes onto a woman he's often rejected because she's forced to be choosy.

Due to hormones, men think of sex in the physical sense more than women do (we think of it more emotionally). So more men are willing to hit the sack making it easier for women to get sex then men.
