Not if you don't let it.

Once you have kids it does become harder, and you can't be as spontanious.

But it is vital to a marriage to keep that special, loving, sexual bond alive.

My husband and I have nights out alone, the kids spend the night with their grandparents sometimes, or even the day. Anytime where we can be alone and enjoy each others company and have adult fun is well worth it. And we have out alone time quite frequently.

Hmmmmm, this is definetly a lot less conventional. We were a three or 4 cases a week couple now we are all the way down to once per chance two times if we are fortunate. notwithstanding the sex we do have IS of the earth shattering type. i imagine i'd truly have high quality vs. volume any day! The nights that our son is going to grandma's are reserved for the wild and loopy!

No, not at all. My sex life gets better with each passing year. I have 2 kids and been married 10 years.

It doesn't "ruin" it--but it may interrupt it here and there (while the kids are young), not enough to be a big deal. Sex gets better as you get older anyway.

It definitely makes your sex life more difficult. It has so many bad effects.

For example:

1. It is detrimental to women's physical appearence...stretch marks, extra weight etc...

2. Additonal stress and financial responsibility. Stress dampens sex drive typically.

3. Time: you are so exhausted, and tired by the time you go to bed, it is hard to have the energy to have sex

There are other factors....

To answer your question in one word...YES!

Not necessarily RUIN, but it does change it.
You may have to be more creative and open to doing things different from what you are used to.
It's still worth it though, at least for me.

No. You do have to be more creative in finding time to be alone with your spouse. As time goes by you'll find that the sexual experience actually gets better, more satisfying!
