Can one of the main problems also be the solution.

Christianity makes God out to be a judgmental jerk. God is only love. Have absolute faith in this as fact.

Don't have only partial faith in God like the christians. Where you believe God will love you if you do this or that the right way.

Gods love is unconditional. That means no conditions need be met for God to love you.

I am a Christian and my answer is that God is the solution. I am the first to say the Christianity has become too religious, when it should be about RELATIONSHIP. The most important thing to understand is that God is our Creator. A creator ALWAYS wants the best for his creation. He wants his creation to be loved by others, to increase in value, to bring great returns. More than this, He wants to be seen as a Father. This may sound funny, but have you ever seen the movie Edward Scissorhands. The inventor in this movie I believe is much like God is: He created Edward and Edward grew to love him through relationship.

Don't get stuck on the do's and don'ts you hear about from some Christians. God wants a relationship with all of us. All relationships have ups and downs. Obedience, worship and everything else will come once a relationship has been kindled.

Your question assumes to a certain degree that :
1. there is a problem
2. the problem requires a solution
3. it's imperative that the solution be put into action.

None of these assumptions are demonstrable. Yes, the world has problems, however, an overall comparison of world history shows we are better off now than at any previous point in civilized history. Morals, values & norms have all flucuated throughout history. Our progress is evident regardless of this history. Has chrisitanity helped? Certainly, but so have other parts of the religious beleif systems. Are they the pancea? Hardly. Grey matter is another component when used to it's potential.

Christianity is A solution, not the solution.

Christianity CAN be the answer but only if you truly understand Christ Jesus. What you read in the New Testament is partially true and what you hear from the pulpit is pure BS, To wit:
GOD is pure love. GOD has never nor will ever advocate war, sacrifice, torture or anything evil or harmful, therefor there is no such thing as "Original Sin". The very idea of a godhead punishing billions of people for an error made by one woman is ridiculous. The idea of a GOD of love sacrificing "HIS only begotten son" is silly. Christ Jesus was crucified for the same reasons thousands of other Rabbis were crucified, to avoid problems from "rabble rousers". Follow the teachings of The Christ but not those of his followers. By the way, GOD has no favorites among us. We are all equal in HER eyes as HE created all that way.
And for GOD'S sake do not fear GOD. Do you fear your earthly father? Is your earthly father a better man than GOD?

No! It has been around for over two thousand years and hasn't gotten it right yet. What would make anyone think that another thousand or two would change anything?

In the investment world there is a saying : Never invest good money in a bad investment.
The same can be said for Christianity: Why go on believing in a system(their beliefs) that has shown to be ineffectual(doomed for failure)
But then, I'm repeating myself.

Christianity is the solution for WHAT ?

Anthropologists have now found that humans were around 300,000 years ago, at least. Christianity has been around only a short time, and a small percentage of the world practice it. It has a war-like, violent history for the short period of time it has existed. People raised their families, and lived their lives, and were happy for hundreds of thousands of years before it came along. Mark Twain said that "the Bible is a book drenched in blood, with a few pieces of good advice, and a thousand lies."

Any religion can be "the solution" if everyone believed in it the same identical way. Of course which Christianity are you talking about? Catholics? Protestants? In Alabama one man shot and killed another over an argument they had about the Bible.

Christianity is the solution. Christ teaches love and understanding. If everyone on the planet was christian then we would have no reason for war! Think about it...
