We have a black sash but it is the equivalent of a 3rd degree karate black belt. It could take as long as needed or as fast as 7 years. BTW, Shaolin dragon style kung fu. I still practice but I'm out of school at the moment.

I studied JUDO for 2 years and got a black belt it was just to fast i don't take it very seriously being graded that fast but it took me 3 years to earn my black belt in Karate and i have since studied Ju-Jitsu for 6 years and i am a blue belt they take it very serious and so do i they don't just grade anyone you have to be really good.

Sorry ! NO Belt in Tai Chi !!! Belts feed the Ego and not the Spirit. As for grades , a real Master knows another...

Hapkido and Taekwondo Three years long years for both.
Right now i am not practicing because of injury's to knees and back from being stupid when I was younger and idiots when I was training.

Aikido, i almost have mine but if i calculate the time correctly, it would have taken me 8 years. i am 14 years old, and i still practice every saturday

1 day when I boxed a 5th degree he did a spinning back kick missed and dropped him with a straight right hand.
