Where's the faith?

I dunno. I'm still trying to figure out why they save money to put their kids thru college if Jesus is coming back so soon? I would think they would be giving all that away to show just has charitable they are.

Because we like to be able to slow down and stop our cars.
Having faith in God doesn't mean that you go around doing stupid things expecting God to do all of your work for you. Being Christian means to love others and to be there for others when they need help. It says in the bible that Christians will suffer just like everyone else, if not more than everyone else, here on earth. God isn't there to prevent you from having bad things happen, he's there to love you through all of your mistakes and help guide you to make the right decisions.

What your asking is to have faith in a device invented and repaired by a fallible creature(Man)
A far cry from having faith in God!
Atheists also drive cars!

Faith in God is not FOOLISHNESS! Foolishness lets one think that faith is hope outside God's rules and regulations!
Why don't we fly by faith? Man was created to walk!
Faith is basically to trust in God but remember God has a will! So no matter how much faith you have on something, if it is outside His will God will not allow it!

It took me a long time to get my brakes fixed. I had faith they'd hold up but the squealing of them became unbearable.

I'm not even christian, but I find this stupid. That's a bit like asking why they don't try to shoot themselves daily, because hey, God will save you?!
There's "faith", which I have my own issues with, but what you're talking about is sheer stupidity.

I'm not christian, but that was just plain ignorant.
Maybe so they don't kill someone. Isn't that a major christian belief? Thou shalt not kill?? I don't care how religious you are or think you are, if you are driving in my city, get your freaking breaks checked and maintenanced routinely.
