The fact that you even care makes you seem really shallow. No one cares about you, it's the brides day, no matter what you do she will be the one in the wedding dress and all eyes will be on her. But if you want to waste the money go for it.

No.. that is your friends wedding...people are comming to see the wedding...they are not going to notice you anyways they are going to notice her more because she IS THE BRIDE...no use for you to go out and spend all that money for one day that isn't even your day...and come on that is your best friend...liket he other person said just spend ur money on buying her a nice gift for her house and tell her what a great friend she is...you still need to look nice but try not to look better than her...then people might look at you and talk about you wondering why u are wearing what you are because you might be TO DRESSY for it not to be your wedding.

no its not , its her wedding not yours. I always think about it like from the other person's point of view. How would you feel if she wanted to look better than you for your wedding. You can look good without spending a fourtane and don't upstage the bride EVER

Your question doesn't make sense. Are you actually going to go out and spends hundreds of dollars on a dress for this wedding and if so why? I think you have some issues you need to work out with your "best friend".

Remember whose day it is - save your money for looking good on your wedding day. That's like announcing your engagement at someone elses wedding. Tacky. Don't do it

I have a feeling that you would look really good if you spent only a dime or as much as a $1000.00 on yourself for the wedding.

You can wear what you want but, why would you want to try to upstage the bride on her day? Turnabout is fair play so they say. Would you want this to happen to you? Think before you leap...you might be jumping off of a cliff.

She won't know unless you tell her, people won't notice you as much as the bride. Buy her a nice gift instead, and tell her what a great friend she is, and wish her the best. Thanks for thinking about her feelings, you are considerate.

NO WAY!! It's an unwritten rule not to look better than the bride. It is your friend's day to shine, not yours.
