It is probably where you live that you recognize this, in your modern day cities it is no big deal and is accepted as many other relationships

Well it is for one we still live in a racist society although it is not as publicly "spoken" in some places. However, I have found that even other relationships are political, such as someone from USA and someone from Europe. I think it is just because people want to stay with traditition. Anything outside of that pushes us mentally in a way that we are now out of our comfort zones. So we revert back to the old ways to get back into our comfort zones.

Because for so long there was a stigma involved with white women dating, etc. black men. Their has been little effort (except by Bill Cosby, whom I greatly admire) on the part of most black men in this country to improve the opinion the rest of the country has of them. Thug life, gagsta rappers, misogynistic views of women, criminal activity, etc. has actually led many black women to prefer dating white men. It seems to me that the black men in this country are accelerating the assimilation of their race that much faster, through ignorance or intention, I don't know. They certainly are doing no favors to their race. Because of this, white women who date black men have been labeled as "trash" by the rest of society, even other blacks.

If you are from the USA... when you get a chance..come to Europe... over here nobody thinks that a black/ white union is a strange thing anymore..

A)Because there are so many puns and stuff like that behind it.
B)A nice portion of the country (mainly in the southeast) is still mainly racist, there are so many problems that haven't been solved.

Segrigation still exists here. I don't know why some people judge others by the color of the skin though. It's different, if you love he/her, then the color shouldn't matter at all.

dont let anyone kid you this behaviour happens everywhere. it is a shallow behaviour of jealousy. live for your happiness no one else will do that for you and dont worry about what anyone else thinks because live is nothing more than someone elses opinion.
