I would choose one or the other for dresses.

For a velvet blue, I would choose orange or cream (or a mix of both) flowers. Here are some dresses and bouquets.

For a peach dress, I would choose a cream or light blue (or a mix) flowers. Here are some dresses and bouquets.

if these to are you favorite colors and you really would like to use them both then pick one color to be like the main color and use the other color as an accent color.

For example peach (a great summer color) use for table cloths and have flowers or something small on the tables in the velvet blue color

I think it would look nice(and different), just don't go over the top. Another great color to use instead of the peach would be gold or silver

These colors totally clash. Pick one and than choose a different secondary color. Example: Peach and Ivory or Velvet Blue and Emerald. Most bride's maids will not look good in peach.

I don't like dark dresses for bridesmaids at weddings. I do like peach for a flower color, such as in roses. Since your wedding is next August, how about pastel colors for the dresses - or a baby blue if you must have blue. It's going to be hot that time of year, keep it light and cool!

Blue is too different. I have just been to a wedding and the chairs had peach bows with white covering for the chair. The round tables had white then peach on top. best of luck !

They are exciting colors together in a non-traditional sort of way. Do you have friends or family who are good at designing stuff and who are adventuresome with colors? Talk to them before you talk to anyone else and they might help you get your ideas out. Someone with less tolerance for originality might discourage you before you've given your ideas a chance. It might not be what you want in the end, but you should definitely explore the idea.

Just don't have the guys in peach. It's your wedding and you can pick whatever colors you want. Just remember that you will have pictures to take and you will be reminded of this wedding forever by those pictures.

go with a lighter blue, and a mellow peach, being opposites on the color wheel they can complement each other, but really dark colors are tricky at weddings. it does sound very pretty, but not very wedding-y. If you are really set on the idea, use one as just an accent color.

No they are not coordinating colors. Try deep reds, oranges not bright colors.

blue and orange are across from eachother on the color wheel so they should compliment eachother and make the colors pop!

show color samples to some people you know and see what they think.

I personally don't like it, but it sounds very unique. I'm sure that with a lot of thought and care, it could be beautiful. Do what YOU like...it's your wedding.
