Well from what i understand in practicing Christianity, Christ is not just a prophet but a part of God, sort of like God incarnated into the flesh. The point of Christianity from what I believe is that we worship the father, holy spirit, and the son.
Three entities that are of one being the trinity of God. Christ is often referred to as the word and in the bible in 1st John I believe it is implied that Christ was always in existence as a part of God, a piece of God. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning" John 1:1 Basically from some of what i understand we worship God through the part of God which God sent to earth to be sacrificed for our sins. Bluntly speaking we worship God almighty through Christ.
At least that is what i believe
hoped it helped

The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are one and the same. They are manifestations of the one true God. It is how God has revealed Himself to us in three ways, yet it is still the same God.
Human minds are not capable of understanding God in his true form, we try but He is beyond anything we could possibly imagine. So God has revealed Himself to us in ways that we can understand so that we may worship Him and have a relationship with Him.

Well, Jesus is not a prophet. He was the son of God, he also says no one comes to the father but by him. You have to call on Jesus to be saved. What kind of teaching were you taught.

Where are you getting your information? Christians do not worship Jesus. Jesus is salvation and God sent him and he is the one that should be worshipped.

John 3:16. He was dead for 3 days. Then got up and walked. And then there's lazarus. Did muhamed ever die and come back to life? Did he ever bring anyone back to life? Did Jesus ever say die for my father and he'll give you virgins in heaven?
