I'm not the prettiest of girls. I'm 13 and still havent had my first kiss, most of my friends have. Is this something to do with my looks?

I had my first kiss at sixteen. It's all about how outgoing you are and what type of guy you hang around with. You'll find out as life goes on that generally speaking, the guys who come up to you will be schmucks while the nice ones stay at the back without making a move - so if the boys you know are like that, they might be shy. Either way, 13 is nothing, just shows you've got standards... Tell you what, email me a picture and I'll tell you if you're a munter or not!

NO NO NO! Unless you have a terrible disfigurement like an eyeball on the end of your nose, then it is not your looks!! Some guys (usually turn out to be the best ones long term I imagine) can be a bit shy in coming forward and may percieve your shyness as lack of interest. Besides, you don't want a guy who has kissed loads of girls already!! You would just be one on a long list!!

Yes I think looks matter, I hadn't had a kiss and at 16 I used to wonder what it would be like, so I had a few practises with a horse that was in a field at the bottom of our garden!
The horse got fed up with this attention and one day it bit my nose off!
I had a plastic nose fitted but in the hot weather it melts a bit and keeps changing shape, now I cant find a partner, so looks do count and I 'nose' this for a fact!

Dont worry! I have always been the 'minger' out my friends because they are all stunningly good looking.
At the moment they are all single and looking for partners and im engaged to my future husband who i have been in a realtionship with for 3years.
You are probably not ugly anyway and there are probably loads of lads who secretly fancy you - at 13/14 they just dont like admitting it so dont worry about your looks.

you are sill very young and there is nothing wrong with the fact that you havent had your first kiss..besides like others have said to you, nice boys at that age tend to be shy and hang in the background so it has nothing to do with your looks I can assure you!Personality goes a long, long way so When it's meant to be it will happen so you stop worrying your pretty little head ok :)

Give yourself some time, little lady. Guys around your age are a little shy and if they like you, they have a hard time approaching you. There is a guy for you out there somewhere and you don't need to rush it. You don't need to beautiful to be attractive to others. A good heart and a great sense of humor goes a lot farther than looks.

Contrary to popular belief nowadays, most guys worthy of dating are unconcerned about looks. Sure, they're a nice addition, but to most of us, a good personality is all that really matters.
Don't rush the first kiss thing. Taking your time isn't a sin.

No sweetheart, your looks don't matter. I suggest that you haven't met the right person yet, or that your confidence might need a little more bolstering to make you feel comfortable with it. I'm sure your parents told you that you are beautiful, it's true, we all are. Now don't worry about it, just get on with enjoying your teenage years, and believe me, you'll get that kiss before you know it! ;-)

At your age, yeah i guess they do, but dont give up now ok! im telling you as it is! if you have'nt got the looks at this stage, then you gotta change your image, become super confident become BRASH! can you pull this off? some kids get their looks early, some late, but hang in there dont give up, one of the toughest times in a humans upbringing is now! you have alot to learn ok? i been there, and no it was never easy in my time either! i feel for you BIGTIME , i had the looks, but girls kep't away because i was trouble! took me 30 years to find that out! hope iv'e helped? mr sympathetic yardvell! if you need one to one im approachable through yahoo ANSWERS. good luck, i mean that!
