Don't do it if you like the color blonde you have. I too have blonde hair and have wanted to go brunette, but my hair is naturally pretty light and when I ask my hair dresser if it will ever be the same color again they've said no. This is from three different hair dressers.
A quick fix that you may like would be coloring the bottom half of your hair darker. Go a rich brown and still keep the top light. Add low lights and high lights. Plus it's summer and you should stay blonde. Hope this helped

I think you look great blonde, it's hard to tell with that pic whether brunette would suit you or not. I would get it done at a salon if you are going dark, I went red once and it was a big mistake, but the salon could fix easily because of the type of dye they use. It's tricky with naturally blonde hair! Good luck, I wanna see pics if you do it, then maybe I will get the courage too! So yah, do it!

You're a beautiful Lady-whatever you choose -you will still be gorgeous. Do what makes you happy-you're not hurting anyone! If you're this nervous try on a wig in a wig shop to see how you look as a brunette first or do a temporary dye from the pharmacy and rub it in and it shampoos out in one shampoo. Experiment before you do the real thing. My sister has her own salon so I know a thing or two about this stuff (I'm NOT gay) lol

I think you should do it. You won't know whether it looks great until you do it. I think your feeling this way because you have had such a light color in your hair for so long and tha'ts what your used to seeing, but change can be exciting!!!! Life is about risks even when it comes to your hair. Some people can still look great with different shades of color. See if you are one of those people. You might just get more compliments. I hope you give it a try atleast, I wish you luck!!!

IF your concern is dating and men:: stay blonde.
IF your concern is being taken seriously and you are in a sales career or work under other women. Do it.
My sister in law is a blonde gone brunette due to her job in sales. Her sales have doubled, because women take brunettes more seriously (unfortunately). Women also have the last say in what happens in their household when they are married, so unfortunately: at a professional angle. You are better off with another hair color in that case.

Sorry you're scared, but you should do whatever makes YOU happy. Brunette or blonde. Personally, I prefer happy and confident without much thought to hair color.

WAIT
if this is you in the picture with the super blond hair then don't do it all at once. you will AGE at least 10 years if you do (it all at once) . it will bring to light all the tiny , fine lines around your eyes and mouth.
i've had clients come to me wanting it done, tried to talk them out of it and they wouldn't listen to me (being the PROFESSIONAL) so i did it.
EVERY time they came back almost in tears. EVERY TIME.
start with lolites and do a little bit each time till you get to the color you like. this will also give dimention , which you are lacking now.

Change is good but can be frightening when not certain of the outcome. I say go a deep red not brunette!

I hope you have a really good hair dresser. Make sure they use a red orange filler before putting brown on your hair, otherwise your hair will turn a funky color like, green or gray. I'm only guessing your hair is porous, porous hair grabs color and it will turn darker, so make sure your hair stylist uses a color that is about two shades lighter then the color you really want. I hope everything turns out great, good luck.

Yes, I think you will look better.
Often blond hair looks trashy, a dark brunette with a bit of red, that looks classy! and you probably dont have to worry so much about dark roots...yuk!!
