ummm i would say when they start school areound 4 years old...unless like you have a little girl and she showers with mommy and the boy showers with daddy then i dont see a problem with it, i mean im 22 and i sit in the bathroom sometimes when my moms getting a bath and talk to her and i see no problem with that because we are both females...but it really depends on what your opinion is, i wouldnt go past age 4 with the opposite sex

Funny enough, I had this conversation with my boyfriend the other day... I believe that as long as the child can walk and talk (which is usually around 3, or 4 the latest) then that child can bath and shower on his/her own. I was taking baths on my own when I was 4, so there's no reason that at an age of schooling, you would be taking baths and showers with your children. I think that becomes inappropriate.

Children should never shower with a parent of the opposite sex. Just give them a bath or check that they are clean when they get out of the shower.

I never showered with my children to me it just didnt seem right, but I bathed my children up until the age of 3 then Id monitered them to make sure they were cleaning properly, by the time they were 4 they started taking their own showers, I hopr this might help alittle.

I would say 2 1/2, but you should still supervise them until they are 4 or are mature enough to know how to take a good shower by themselves without drowning.

Shower time is my time!!! Stopped having my daughter with me when she was 3 and my son stopped showering with his father when he was 2 1/2. Stopped giving them baths together when he was 3 and she was 2.

school age...4..unless they notice the differnces early, then asap...my daughter is 4 and i still give her a shower with me, but my husband doesnt. He gives our 3 y o son a shower with him
