OK, we start by assuming you live somewhere where weed is legal. Otherwise, I'd be effectively advising you to do something illegal, and we can't have that, can we?
A friend of mine gave up tobacco by lighting a joint every time she wanted a cigarette. You don't smoke as many joints as you would cigarettes, but it satisfies that urge to have the hand-to-mouth action of smoking. After awhile, you get so stoned you don't care about tobacco anymore.
Of course, this could use up quite a supply, but don't worry. No matter how much grass you smoke, you won't be addicted to it the way you were to tobacco. Marijuana is NOT addicting. Some people have the habit of smoking for many years, and then have to give it up for some reason (like living somewhere where it is illegal and having their supply cut off, for a random example . . . not talking about myself of course, because I would never do anything illegal), and they don't go through withdrawal. They may say, "Gee, I wish I had some weed" once or twice, but there's no physical withdrawal symptoms.

Yes! My sister stopped smoking cigarettes and she still smokes weed. She stopped because she said cigarettes would kill her and there too expensive. She said she needs weed because it's her medicine.
