i've seen the movie twice and some of my black friends says that the little kid is black or one of them.
they mentioned the way he carried himself and the way he spoke. plus they said the features on him and his name is a black kids name.
if any of you have seen the movie, please let me know.
on the 2nd time seeing the movie, i have to agree with some of what they said.

i'm not saying darius is only named in the black community. i'm just saying it's very, very popular in the black community.

i never saw the movie but i saw the commercials. he'd be considered Hispanic. have you heard of that before?

He appears to be Hispanic. As for a black kids name. That is too funny. Me and my husband are Chinese. Our daughter is named after a Native American Indian tribe, my son's name is Darius. Go figure! lol

He appeared to be a Hispanic child. I don't remember his name in the movie, but remember it's the character's name, not his real name. If you're referring to his real name, it is not uncommon to hear "black", "white", or "spanish" names on other nationalities.
