Well, the issue is popular because of the increasing awareness of the natural world, but the real reason these are the featured questions has to do with how yahoo promotes this site. Al Gore posed the question for the holiday weekend, but after Tuesday, there will be a new category each day. Some in the past have been about cars, news and events, science, you name it. Check the link off the yahoo answers homepage (not your account home, but the full home page) and look for "Ask the Planet." According to that, if you get an answer selected as best answer in the day's category, you could be eligible to win a prize, like a Toyota Prius or something.

people would rather lead then to think for themselves. We are taught in school that humans are to blame for global warming yet more and more evidences shows that contribute just a minute amount of the green house gasses that are in the air.
