I got a spider bite last year and ended up in the Hospital first it itched a little then started to look like a pimple that never came to a head just kept getting bigger and wider under the skin. Doctor lanced it open went back to days later and had to have surgery. something called mrsa that is immune to antibiotics and it turned into a major staff infection. be careful I thoght it was nothing and now have a huge scar as a result of it. Think it was a Brown Recluse hospital lost the labs twice crazy huh!

Spiders can cause all kinds of reactions - some like brown recluse can cause severe reactions - some can lead to a seconary infection - and some can cause an allergic response. If you suspect that you have an infection see a doctor right away for treatment. If left untreated, the consequences can be very extreme - requiring surgery or worse.

yes spiders can cause infections. Look for redness and swelling at the site, and tenderness too. See a doctor.
