The carbon monoxide in cigarettes ages your skin faster.
Your skin has to work twice as hard to re-new itself therefore causing it to age....
Smoking does not make you skinny or fat either....
People only say it makes you skinny because when you quit, you have to find another addiction and many choose food.
Do not start smoking and if you smoke, then quit...
How hot is it to walk around with a tube down your throat because you have lung cancer or emphysema?

Smoking supresses your appetite, so yes, you can lose weight.
However, you lose days off your lifespan, too.
As for the skin, you got it backwards. Smoking makes you look like you are 60, when you're actually 30. Your skin gets wrinkly and dry. So not only do you die sooner, you get to look like a corpse sooner, too.
My advice: choose some other weight loss and beauty regime.

Not only does it damage the skin, smoking also causes arteriosclerosis, which in turn leads to the development of purple spider veins visible under the skin.
The only reason you still look like you're 30 when you're 60, is that smoking makes you look like you're 60 when you're 30.

Omg, no... ugh! How old are you? Like, five??? Cigarettes are terrible!! Heck, I learned this over five years ago (I'm thirteen!) They cause:
1. Very bad and saggy skin.
2. Black lungs (you're basically polluting them).
3. Very bad dental condition.
4. Severe weight loss.
5. Bad digestion (do you enjoy diarrhea?)
6. Lung cancer.
And, once I learned that there was rat poison, cleaning detergent and tons of other crap, that really made me disgusted (other that with the smell) ! So... think- don't smoke!!

You were seriously misinformed. Smoking causes wrinkles and yellowing of the skin, among other major health problems both inside and out.

Because between the smoke that surrounds your body and the stuff you pull into your body, it dehydrates and takes away nutrients from your skin and body. Yuck.
