It doesn't quite click with the Christian concept of the Trinity.

Most Christian theologians would view the Trinity as a single unit in three parts moving toward a common goal. Within your threesome you have two parts moving toward a common goal with the third part being a fly in the works.

The first two points of your threesome are indeed powers within themselves which interact between each other and act outwardly toward others. But the third member of your group is more of a reaction by the outward "others" to the first two members than a entity that is joined with the first two into a cohesive unit of power.
