I mean this is strange...most companies do not even have over 1000 years existing. And the ones that are about 700 years old were founded over many years of hardwork and labour by their ORIGINAL FOUNDERS but AMAZINGLY Jesus established His faith within 3.5 years and over two thousands years passed and millions of organisations which are Christian based have been established e.g. schools, help centres, churches, music groups, companies, N.G.O.'s, books, speeches, adverts, conferences, people abandoning their good social lives for Him (Jesus).

Jesus' "company" (faith) does not seem to die out like some companies did that were founded within 3.5 years...yet He spoke such simple words!

What do you think guys?

Mahommed lived for his faith for over 10 years...so it is quite expected of Islam to have been established as it is!! But Jesus started His Christian ministry within 3.5 years.

And 2000 yrs before Jesus, there was Dionysus who lasted well past Jesus' lifetime. Just because you don't see them today, doesn't mean they didn't last a long time when they were popular. And I would say that the worship of many of Egypt's gods and goddess (which were later translated into other cultures as it grew) were around a lot longer than Christianity ever thought of being.
And most of the simple words he spoke, had already been spoken by other ppl in other cultures. THis is not unique.

Quite simply put, Jesus is the truth! Truth has a way of sticking around. When looking at Jesus you just see those 3 and a hlf years, however in doing that you are overlooking God that existed forever. He is the beginning and the end. God is and will always be. He sent His son here on earth so that we could see and have something attainable. So that we would not have to sacrafice anymore, as he was and is the final sacrafice for our sins. A young man at the age of 33, through some human struggles, willingly was beaten, tortured, mocked, hung on a cross with nails driven through His hands and His feet and died for who? me? What an amazing humble, unselfish, love bearing gift to give to humanity. How do you doubt? When you and your Father in Heaven are the alpha and omega, you are and willl always be.

According to tradition, Jesus' ministry lasted 1 year.

But the answer is easy, Jesus didn't found Christianity. Buddhism is even older than Christianity and was founded by 1 man. Do you find that equally amazing? Islam is also over 1000 years old and founded by 1 man. Is that amazing as well?

Jesus was the image put on a product created by someone else. Notably Paul and the Greek and Roman churches. Add fairytales, martyrs and amassing political power over a period of several hundred years, and blend well. Wah-lah. A Christian empire is born, which deceives many into believing it's connected to Jesus.

once you examine intently, Jesus did not ever say the crucifixion replaced into his meant technique of redeeming mankind. The Apostles were at a loss as to a thanks to act after the crucifixion, which had under no circumstances been on the tables. that they'd under no circumstances been prepared for it and Jesus wasn't prepared for it both, yet he'd carried out his artwork as a superb rabbi, and spread a large number of solid thoughts, some taken from sects, others from Greek philosophy, others from issues he'd learnt in Alexandria and probably contained in the lifeless Sea communities. After Jesus it wasn't a lot "how can we understand what Jesus taught" as "how can we make the disappearance of this prophet sensible and tie all of it up right into a logical, new faith". Arguments about what Jesus's visual charm and disappearance were meant to advise went on for hundreds of years. In many years' time we will have the booklet of the newly found Judas' Gospel. which will placed some cats between the pigeons. enable's desire we get the unadulterated version and under no circumstances Benedict 16's version.

You've already had plenty of folks point out why your theory is flawed. Christianity is not nearly as successful as several other (1 man shows). However, just to point out another fine example... Look at scientology. Look at how that ridiculous religion has attained world-class status, without any wars being fought for it, no one being forced... just a lot of gullible people...

Meanwhile, as I've mentioned before, I wouldn't trust your "facts" about Jesus anymore anyway. It appears that we have all been misled to a great extent about the very existence of Jesus... period. (See the origins of the Jesus myth by looking up Mithraism)

You confuse the Roman Empire with peasants in Palestine.

The Roman Empire invented a universal religion in 325 CE and forced it on all Romans at the point of a sword.

1,000 years of executing people goes a long way towards removing all objections. And, has little to do with the underlying message.

What's even more amazing his how Islam spread so much more quickly than Christianity without nearly so much force required.

Maybe, ask Mcdonald's Corp., they seem to have had the only other global marketing strategy almost as good as Jesus'. Clearly, Jesus must've been a marketing wiz who knew how to sell the name and promise, and had a good name and promise to sell ... either that or like he was the son of some guy with limitless infinite powers :)

As a side note, now I wonder if Mcdonald's outnumber Christian churches.

i think that jesus had a way of changing ppl, he turned them around, made them whole again, and i do believe in jesus, but i think that we all need to realize all the many miracles he performed while he was alive, like turning the water into wine, makin the blind man see, raising people from the dead but we should never doubt these sorts of miracles, because they changed the way many people think and feel. it was simple words that were spoken, but they were some of the most powerful words ever spoken by one man.
