If we were to strike North Korea, they promised an "annihilating strike and a nuclear war". Even though the US has a huge stockpile of nuclear weapons in its arsenol, will we be afraid to use them for fear of international relations? Or will the US use them in what could be the end of a nation (wont be the US).

The World Health Organization concludes that 1.1 billion people would be killed outright in such a nuclear war, mainly in the US, Russia, Europe, China and Japan. An additional 1.1 billion people would suffer serious injufles and radiation sickness. This would represent by far the greatest disaster in the history of the human species and, with no other adverse effects, would probably be enough to reduce at least the Northern Hemisphere to a state of prolonged agony and barbarism.
If someone fire the first shot, then hold on to your hats, the retaliation will be monumental.

Was Hiroshima or Nagasaki ready for nuclear war?Is anybody ready for nuclear war?George W has been quoted as saying that the population of the world should be reduced by 75%,so if there was a nuclear war I don't think he really cares about how many Americans die so the question is;are you ready for nuclear war?Remember,cowering in your basement is not going to save you from a nuclear war and George W has no Homeland Security plans for that as you have already seen in wake of the hurricanes in the southern states like Louisiana..If the US drops a nuke on North Korea then China might retaliate with a few dozen nukes on the US and God help us all.

YES!!! North Korea and Iran will be destroyed whenever they are stupid enough to even think about dropping a nuke on the USA and if that happens, you can kiss Mecca bye-bye and all of Islamic-Fascist PIGS!!!!

Thats why we go to war in countries like Iraq. I f we years ago would've kicked Koreas *** we wouldn't have this now. So all you bledding Liberals go to N.Korea now and give them a kiss I'm sure it will make it all better.

the US is ready for a nuclear war, no one can equal our military might, but it would be best to avoid a nuclear exchange

in today's world nuclear deterrence no longer works for us becoz most of the countries hav them,and as their use is concerned it isn't possible without starting third world war.

well, of course if anything wil be destroyed that would be north korea..but, no.. the U.S. agreed with Japan, to place "Patriot interceptor" missles near tokyo, air force base in japan...so the bombs would never even reach to the us...they would explode in koreans own faces....but that would affect the whole world,(negatively) SO, I HOPE that Korea won't be that stupid..
