The Bible says in the book of Genesis, Ch. No.1, Verse No.29, that…
'God has given you all the herbs bearing seeds, the trees bearing fruits - those that bear seed, as meat for you.'
New International Version says…
'The seed bearing plants, and the trees bearing fruits bearing seeds are food for you, all of them.'
Today, even a layman knows that there are several poisonous plants like wild berries, stritchi, datura, plants containing alkaloid,
polyander, bacaipoid - that which if you ingest, if you eat there are high possibilities you may die. How come the Creator of the
universe and the human beings, does not know, that if you have these plants, you will die.
Please come to the TRUE WORD OF GOD Qur'an.
Remember
There is no god but Allah, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is the last messenger of Allah.

Well... you have to remember that everything in the bible is subject to interpretation. Religion is not a exact sciense, it can't be if it wants to appeal to everyone. Many things in the bible can be translated in many ways and can be interpreted in many other ways which in the end may mean completely different things. Take for example the case of the number 666, which is my personal favorite, which has become a number only after being translated through several languages: hebrew, arabic, greek, latin, and finally english or any other contemporary language, if I'm not mistaken. These translations trasformed the latin name of Emperor Nero into the numbers 306 and 360 which added together make 666. (This example may not be very accurate but please correct me if you have more reliable information on this subject.)
In this case however the answer is much more subjective. God is allknowing and so He DOES KNOW that some plants cand and most likely will kill you if you eat them, but what can be interpreted is that everything has it's use and we can use everything for something. If you look at the word "food" in a much broader sense than you will understand. Many medicins are extracted from otherwise deadly sources such as poisonous plants and animals that you wouldn't normally eat. Coffee is a poison as well as tabacco that are intended to keep pests away from the plants. Besides, God gave us free will to do as we choose we choose and if we choose to eat a poisonous plant so be it. Free will is much more important and knows no boundries.

But the Creator of the universe did know about poison - which is why he created us with our fabulous liver. Allow me to enlarge...
Here’s some thought-provoking information readers may find fascinating. It indicates the incredible efficiency of the liver: Two dogs were given an equal dose of poison, one of the dogs receiving it in an ordinary vein and the other in the portal vein. The first dog died, but the second, having the poison rendered harmless by the liver, remained unaffected. In fact, the dose of poison had to be multiplied several times before the second dog was affected. That illustrates the importance of the liver as a poison-control center.
Our own bodies make poisons that could kill us. For example, run up a flight of stairs or do some other exercise and our muscles burn glucose—a body fuel—to produce energy. But in the process of doing so, the muscles make lactic acid, which would poison us if it were allowed to accumulate. The liver to the rescue! It turns the lactic acid into a form that can be utilized as fuel again.
Also, ammonia is constantly being formed as our body cells burn protein. The ammonia is absorbed into the portal bloodstream and comes to the liver. If it were allowed to accumulate in the body, we would die. But the liver does its job, forming urea from the ammonia and passing it along to the kidneys for elimination.
What’s the point? Probably any poison ingested would have been summarily dealt with by the liver. And keep in mind, the bodies of Adam and Eve would have been working in perfection. Yet even now, in our imperfection the body works in a marvelous way, repairing, replacing, protecting, defending.

Hi Dai,
You'll need to do better than this. As I've noted with many Muslims, you refuse to read the text in context.
You'll note, for instance, that in Genesis 1:29 this is BEFORE the fall of mankind. Since it was before the fall the effects of sin (thorns, etc.) weren't in action.
So, in the Garden of Eden prior to the fall this statement was true. No problem, no error.
On the other hand, the 'true word of God -- the Quran' as you propose does say things such as 'the sun sets in a pool of water.' Hmmmm, that's a bit of a problem isn't it?
Quran chapter 18 verse 86.
"Until when he reached the setting-place of the sun, he found it setting as if in a pool of murky water, and near it he found a people. WE said, `O Dhu'l Qarnain, you may punish them, or treat them with kindness.'

I just read 9:11 in the Quran. It seems if that is the justification for bombing us, it was wrong !
9:11 Yet if they repent, and take to prayer, and render the purifying dues, they become your brethren in faith: [17] and clearly do We spell out these messages unto people of [innate] knowledge!
See, it says "IF THEY REPENT". Maybe we do not wish to be your brothers in faith as we do not believe in forced assimilation. The stoning of women or the killing of someone because they choose to convert a different faith.
Sorry brother from another mother, but I like our system better. Why not join us and be free from ? Then you do not have to lie to try to say why your religion is better. When you walk it, others will follow. Don't see it happening.

yet and nevertheless, there are plenty that are suitable for eating. Why do moron's like you stay to disclaim HIM! The apple's were pleasing on that tree that Adam and Eve picked from besides the actual incontrovertible reality that He warned him now to not eat them. conserving that to assert, He did not propose each fruit, each seed, from each plant or tree. What does it say contained in the hot testomony? each little thing has replaced in this kind of huge volume of options in view that then, except for fake idol worshipers.

Jews and Christians know that the Bible contains contridictions. The Bible is understood to contain spiritual truths and to be a guide to living a life as God would want one to live. It is not considered to be a scientific or historical document that can be taken at face value. You seem to be misinformed about Judaeism and Christianity, at least with respect to their regard for sacred scripture.

That was before the fall of man, which happens in Genesis 3:6, and since it was BEFORE the fall there was no death and therefore obviously no poison. All causes of death came from the curse put on man for disobeying the God who had created him.

I did not see God said to eat poisoneous plants and trees in that verse. In fact, there is nothing wrong with that verse. It said to eat fruits and plants, which is true... those fruits, vegetables and other plants that are not poison are good for us.

Well, you have to remember--when God said this to Adam and Eve they were in paradisaic conditions. Therefore nothing was of harm to them. It wasn't till after they sinned that God cursed the ground.
Here's my question to you. If the bible is false and Muhammad is the ultimate savor, why is it he (Muhammad) often referred to Moses and other accounts/men from the bible as prime examples to further his teaching?
