Give yourself some time and get on with life. Don't jump back into a relationship for a while. Also get rid of all the reminders of the past.

Forget? No. That would entail wiping out a chunk of your memory. Get over? Absolutely! It takes this thing called Time (cliche', I know, but it's true). Take things one day at a time...don't sit at home pining though. Get out and do things (even if you don't really want to)...spend time with friends, work on a hobby or take up a new one...go get a manicure or pedicure or buy yourself something new (some kind of treat, to perk you up).

Relationships rarely last forever...it's just how Life is. People grow and change and sometimes they grow and change in ways that cause them from being a good match anymore. Remember the good times, be thankful for them...learn the lessons and take those forward with you into future relationships.

You'll be fine...just about anyone who's dated can relate to what you are going through...you WILL feel better (hopefully soon).

you just have to take it slow and move on with your life. Do something that you have not done in a while. Go visit some friends that you might have forgot about or did not pay that much attention to while you were in love. Start going to Clubs if you are old enough. You have to get in touch with the things you like now. You have to find out what makes you happy all over again.

Believe me your not alone! My boyfriend of almost 6 years walked out on me and our 3 1/2 year old son 2 weeks ago and i am still feeling really hurt and angry but i know i will eventually get over him and move on.Just dont be alone and moping about, keep yourself busy and go out, maybe not to meet anyone right away but you`ll know when the time is right just as i will.Take one day at a time and hopefully in a few months time we can both look back and not feel anything.goodluck.xx

i don't think it's possible to totally forget someone u've been with for 3 years, but it doesn't mean if u haven't fogotten someone u haven't moved on.
it's hard to forget but think of the good times and bad times and learn from it, cos it'll make u a better/wiser person and in a way u can be grateful for what happened in ur last relationship cos it'll help to avoid any mistakes in future relationships.
jus go out with ur friends, take ur mind of it. and there is others who are waiting out there for u.
hope this helps :-)

It is hard to let go. And no, you probably won't forget, but it will get easier as time passes, and you will be able to live without them. I was married for 10 years, and of course I will never forget him, but I am so much better off without him. Good Luck and hang in there. Time heals all wounds.

It doesn´t get any easier believe me, but trying to forget them makes you remember them even more. Move on and find something else to give you memories worth treasuring.

Ive been through that myself. Im Irish and
I was with this girl from Hong Kong
She was amazing:)
When she went back to her x boyfriend I was
devestated. It took me a long time to get
over her but the best way is to travel and enjoy
yourself. You will replace him soon

Well once someone better comes along you will forget about it and realize that it was meant to be. The pain will go away and things will get better, trust me.
