Sometimes the local papers have some special offers, but I 've checked and I can't see any offers at the moment.

The best I could find is on the website below

2 adults + 2 children = £46.00
1 adult + 2 children = £32.00

Hope this helps.

I have to say it is really worth the money. We have been on a few occasions and you do spend all day there. Lots and lots to do and see.

Oh, and make sure you go down the mine. It really opens your eyes!!!

Dont know about any discount vouchers but I live in Washington and iv been to beamish and its good but not for the price. I hope you do manage to find discount vouchers because you will enjoy it alot better.

If you're staying up here for a while then try the Metro centre in Gateshead. It as a small indoor rollercoaster and other rides, thats good (its the biggest shopping centre in Europe).

You could also go to Newcastle City Centre, lots of shops if you want to spend money.

There is also Durham Cathedral and castle - I think they are still open to visitors.

Anyway, I hope you and your family enjoy it up here.

According to their web site, you would have to call them to book tickets at family discount price: "At present family tickets, group visits and educational visits can not be booked online. Please contact Beamish on 0191 370 4000 for details of these."

And here's another angle (students price) you might check into when you call: "Concession tickets are only valid for Seniors (60+) and for Students in full time education. Please note that for Students, a valid proof of status will be required."

Hope that helps! Good luck.
