Well it depends what you mean by rebirth. I would think if you mean reincarnation, that would contradict the concept of the afterlife. So if that's the case, it's impossible to believe in both. (unless you can be reborn a number of times and then finally quit being reborn)
But I'd say a lot of people believe in that stuff. I say who knows. When I die, I'll find out what happens. Till then, there's no point in worrying about it.

I believe in rebirth and Karma ( I guess it has something to do with being a Hindu and being born and brought up in India).
I do believe in Karma and Destiny. Kind of hard not to. Sometimes you do your best and then nothing happens - or all sorts of wrong things happen. Sometimes you dont even try and everything falls into place. And the Karmic theory really explains it well.
What is basically says is that you are the sum of your past actions. So, if you are living a tough life it was because of your bad deeds in your past lives. And to make your future life better, you have to do good in this life. It tells you there are no shortcuts and you need to work for it. Kind of opposite in nature of western thoughts where you go to heaven and hell depending on how good you were in this life. But then I wonder where all those souls go to ? With Karma theory there is recycling of the soul.
From the Bhagwat Gita (which incidently is older than the Bible):
"Just as a man giving up old worn out garments accepts other new apparrel, in the same way the embodied soul giving up old and worn out bodies verily accepts new bodies"
Afterlife? Well, i guess we could call Moksha as Afterlife. In which case - I do believe in it too.

Yes on the rebirth... Too many weird experiences with memories and dreams as a small child not to
Afterlife? Well, it only seems reasonable that if we have an eternal soul that can return to life in another body, often carrying memories of experiences from preceding lives, it should also be capable of experiencing self awareness in the place between death/life. I would consider that 'afterlife' so I guess the answer is Yes.

Yes I do.Coz it is The truth and can be explained.Afterlife, rebirth are the only explanations for many a life questions which science cannot answer.Like why are some people so good,so nice and why are some so bad as murderers and rapist. The science can answer this question as difference in Genetic formations, but still there's one more question why do various people's genetic qualities differ. They have no answer for that. There are many such questions whose answers can be given through the theory of rebirth and past lifes and other such relative concepts and phenomenas. If you wanna know more about the Rebirth phenomena do email me,I'll be glad to satisfy your queries.

People believe in all sorts of things; that doesn't make them true. The bible clearly states we are born once of the flesh and once of the spirit (in our baptism), and that we will die only ONE time. Christians do not believe in a physical rebirth or in reincarnation, but believe in the afterlife. Scripture states repeatedly, and with great concern for each one's eteranal salvation, that there is a very real physical place where each of us will spend eternity. It's important to seek the truth. Good luck and God bless you.

I do not believe in reincarnation. But I have experienced an afterlife due to a near death experience when I was in a coma for 22 days following a car accident.
