It won't matter. You are still consuming the same amount of calories. You have to expend more calories than you consume in order to lose weight.

With your diet I don't understand why your not a rail. Best to eat your protein meal as early as possible. The one thing I would suggest is move your 7/8pm meal to a time as soon as you can after arriving home from work or about 5:00 - 5:30 that way your body will have time to metabolize the heavier meal way before your bed time. I have a smoothie in the evening if I feel hungry. Recipe - 1 small banana, 1 cup frozen strawberries or frozen peaches, 4 table spoons of fat free yogurt 1/4 cup of orange juice (I have my own orange tree so I freeze ice-cube trays of fresh squeezed juice and use 4 cubes instead of the liquid because it makes the smoothie even more frosty). If you buy your orange juice by the half gallon, I will have to when my cubes run out, I never use it fast enough so I also freeze store bought after about a week in the fridge. Also if it's not too late or too hot I will take my smoothie in a thermal sports cup and go for a walk while drinking my smoothie.

Since carbs are burned before any other material in your body, you should be having your carb-heavy meals in the morning or afternoon. Not only will this provide you with a little quick energy to help you get your day started, it also helps to jump-start your metabolism after sleep.
I would be worried that you're not getting enough vitamins and minerals so you should sometimes do some substituting with the plantain and lintils, try some steamed, mixed veggies and 1/4 cup of brown rice.
Raw veggies are also a good idea for snacks, carry some around with you (carrots are great for this!) and if you feel really hungry, munch away.
If you're doing 30 minutes or more in cardio-exercise everyday, I would worry that you don't have enough calories in your diet to keep your body out of "starvation mode" (this actually turns on the fat-creating functions in the body and prevents loss of fat tissue), you should consult with a doctor or at least a nutritionist and make sure that your diet will be doing the job it needs to.

i think the morning is best for carbs to give you energy for the day. you should eat less carbs in the evening and have a balance of meat (especially fish at the evening) and veggies. more veggies at the evening (so that your body can easily digest the food at night)
i also read that 6 small meals a day is better than having 3 heavy meals a day. :)

you would first lose weight, then your body would convert your fat into muscle, so then you would gain weight. Basically, a leaner, meaner machine.

You should have light food for your breakfast and supper.
Your lunch should be your heavy food.
