I would not recommend using programs to mess in the registry unless you know what you are doing.

but saying that, If you are experiencing issues with your registry I would recommend a program called Registry Mechanic, I and a few friends have used this program for 2 years now, and have never experienced any issues with it.

Its overpriced and better to use"Registry Fix, or PC Booster" both free and work well,also CC Cleaner

No, I've been loyal to Registry Fix. It's free, very quick to install, very quick to scan and fix registry errors and I have never had any problems with it. I don't really think I'd like to BOOST my registry, I'd rather elliminate them. Good luck.

If you don't know how to change your registry yourself then its no safer getting a program to do it.
I'm a novice and I use TweakUI from Microsofts site, and Ccleaner.
