im on a diet plan,well c i love eating boiled veges but i like eating it with something , some kind of sauce in it wich is not available in the market , i just want some nice easy low calorie sauce recipe to go with my boiled veges , plain boiled veges is not very tasty u know . pls pls help

Use mustard-Dill Sauce when you want to add more appeal to a simple vegetable side dish or dress up poached or broiled fish. It is a much healthier choice than tartar sauce.

Ingredients

3/4 cup plain nonfat yogurt
¼ cup prepared mustard, spicy or dijon
1 teaspoon dried dill weed
½ teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon honey

Yield: 1 Cup

Directions

Mix ingredients thoroughly in a small bowl.

Serve on vegetables or fish. Store any remaining sauce in refrigerator in a covered container.

Even lo calorie spray-on butter substitute can add some flavor, and hardly any calories. "I Can't Believe It's Not Butter" and "Smart Balance" both make a tasty spray.

Also, fresh-ground pepper adds a ton of flavor, much more than the already-ground type.

balsalmic vinegar or lemon squeezed on it will jazz it up. Steam broccoli instead of boiling it, it might be little tastier that way.
