I know some people who use this program. A beka books is located in my home town. There is also a home school store here that sells used books for homeschooling and they provide a lot of assistance. You might check for one in your area.

I am a home schooled student I send my exams in by the mail it is called "american School". The phone number is 1-708-418-2800. The lowest payment is 35 dollars a month and it cost 70 dollars to start it up.

if you live in California then a charter school is the best way to go...in southern cali its Julian charter or eagle's peak school they are awesome because they allow you to go to classroom settings for difficult and fun classes...they also have outside vendors which offer dance, horseback riding, ice skating, etc...all for free! You also get a credentialed teacher every 20 days to give you the curriculum its great try it out :)

Firstly, your school district is legally required to provide you with materials. Secondly There are different programs depending on your philosophical bent. For example ABEKA is a christian homeschooling curriculum, while Oak Meadow is one with a more newagey feel.

go to your local school admin office, as they (home school)are usually located there. I was thinking of home schooling my daughter and ... but my brother did instead. If you go to the school admin office they will be able to tell y ou where to go, and who to see. Most of the timet hey are located in the same building just differant area. so Maybe you will luck out to.

www.crosswalk.com has homeschool chat room and forums and experienced people there. also definitely HSLDA; there is plenty of curriculum to choose from, try THE BIG BOOK of Home Learning by Mary Pride, and/or your state homeschool group.

I would NOT advise asking your public school for any information

dont keep her from what she's already doing. its too late now. it will be very detrimental to her and her psycho pathology.... to say the very least.... taking her out of public school in that case, would alienate her. unless she wants to be home schooled. i see an explosion waiting to happen....

why put her in home school there are better oppertunities at her local high school
