They seem to be all around us and most of the time they look like everyone else.
The guy that stops to help an old woman change a flat, the irritating fool that delays you in traffic and prevents you from being involved in that multi-car pile up, the kid that chases you down when you dropped your wallet... all angels in my book.

Remember it is the material eyes that lie to us. They tell us that the sun rises and sets while it does neither. Their is much metaphor and conjecture about angles. Holy Books, story books, and televison has helped to furnish descriptions.
I Agree with the essence of 4evermuslimah, but not necessarily the particulars. All I know is that like air, Xrays, microwaves, and ESP, electricity and music, like Angels fall into the category of the unseen.
You know most of all that exist is unseen. There is actually more nothing than something in the entire universe. Those microwaves pass thru buildings and you too.
Learn more about the material universe withou surrendering you spiritual compass and rudder. Physics, chemistry, astronomy, tailoring, child rearing, painting, sculpting, helping others, music playing, massage,botany, swimming, & joke making, are all ways to find out about the unseen. Quiet the self so that Allaha can rap with the inner you and show you.
When the time comes you will know. Is it not more important to handle the things you can. Ask the Creator. If it for you, you will know.

Two kinds of angels... a) extraterrestrials, and b) extra-universal. The former are aliens, the latter are incomprehensible life forms which dwell in other universes ("heavens"). Cutting-edge quantum theory suggests that there are ten dimensions, these could be heavens. Those angels don't actually leave their dimensions, but they are able to transcend universes using mind (or spirit). As far as I understand it, they are invisible to humans (no substance, only mind) but in their own world they have bodies and they are very real (though their physics are quite different so the body substance is incomprehensible). So the answer is yes they exist, but no we can't see them, we can only imagine them (they can materialise in human perception). However the spirit within the human can see them when it "goes to heaven." Humans are angels trapped in a material body. Well I love angel questions because my religion is mostly about them (basically no gods only angels).

There are many descriptions of angels in the Bible (KJV) of different angels according to their jobs. But most look just like us. But know this: Devils will show themselves to us as bright, shinning heavenly angels. If you have see an angel, and he/she is telling you things that are not taught in the Bible (such as Sunday is the Sabbath) the it is not a Holy angel that you have been talking to.

Good luck reading what that other guy wrote,hope you have a while. God send Angels in the form of people so those you can see. My daughter had a vision that Angels were in our house protecting us. So I believe they exist.

Depends. I am not religious, so I see no angels. A Christian, though, might see angels. My understanding of an angel is energy left behind after a peaceful death. A ghost or spirit, however, is energy left behing after a violent death.

if you are referring to holy angels....or the fallen angels (the devils)....which angel should that be? In the bible it says that holy angelas are radiant as in the stars in the birth of Jesus Christa and they also come as the appearance of man, as in the message to the virgin Mary of the her concepcion.

Angels are spirits.
They have no physical form.
They may seem to impress a self image with those that they speak to.
All sorts of spirits are out there. Be discerning.

Study the book of Ezekiel. You will learn that there are different kinds of angels.
I hope I never see one... I would be terrified if I saw one... I believe they are out there... but I hope we stay our distance.
