Hi I understand what guys like you have to go through, but we atractive girls like chating to down to earth guys. So don't try and be cool or anything just be yourself

Why do people keep talking about buying drinks??? Just take a deep breath if you need to, walk steady with a confident smile and say "Hi" already. If the girl replies with interest, venture further with a question. I mean, it depends where you're talking to with her, but you could ask about surroundings, or if she knows this or that type of music or something. Just be confident and stay charming. Don't worry too much how you look, what she thinks of you and all of that. Try to feel a bit more free around girls or just about anyone you usually don't feel completely smooth with. Believe me, you'll feel a lot better- good luck! ;)

Some girsl prefer shy guys... Last two guys (both VERY shy) that I dated, I had to ask out myself! ;)

Anyway, steer AWAY from the cheesy chat-up lines and use your eyes - they're a lot more powerful than you might think... Sense of humour and offering to buy her a drink could get you somewhere... Internet chatrooms are a good place to flirt if you're a bit shy too.

So, where are you based again?
*chuckle*

most girls hate chat up lines calm and cool is what works best.

if you know the gal you like and you see her alot see first if she give any signals but dont rush in if she just laughs at a joke you made, test it a week or so, then slowly progess with kind guesturs and words, then if theres nothing going on you wont lose a friend or make an *** of ur self.
if you meet some one out somewhere ask if shed like a coffee sometime and exchange numbers again dont rush in the next day to confirm a date just take your time
on the other hand if you just see some one in a pub one night - forget it.

I'm not a lady, but if I may offer a suggestion:
The reason why you're struck dumb is because you somehow feel she is out of your league and you're walking a fine line making something happen from it... instead, walk into it with a "who cares" attitude and be yourself.

Alternatively, you could say something witty like "Is that a mirror in your pocket, because I REALLY see myself in your pants."

Don't throw around cheesy lines. Just be confident, approach the lady and offer to buy her a drink. Or if you're too shy for that, just ask the barman to get the lady any drink she wants, on you.

Search for something you might have in common. If they're reading you can say something about the book...if they are in a club, compliment them on something they are wearing...after that first intro, the best tip is to ask them about themselves, and if you really listen to the answers, it will take off.

Remember that many people are as shy as you are!

Just Relax. Ladies hate pick-up lines. Just be nice and polite and don't be all over them at once. We want a friendship first, even for just a day. Just don't get a bighead on her and try to be controlling. Good Luck, you sound cute. LOL!

Smile at them, it says alot more than a cheesey chat up line. If they want to talk to you they'll smile back and then all you need to do is say hello and introduce yourself.

Failing that, get really drunk and fall into them.

there is no such thing as a best chat up line - try mediation to get you more relaxed and then just say something about the situation you and the other person are faceing....
