It's not your Mum you're worried about upsetting, it's you. It's a big step leaving home but if you want to wait until you are 100% ready it will never come. Just make sure that your misgivings are not about not wanting to. Don't let your boyfriend push you into doing something you aren't ready to do. You will always feel homesick whenever you do it, but you should know in the back of your mind if you really want to go for it now.

You need to decide before you accept this flat if this is what you really want ,you seem very unsure and thats a recipe for disaster,is it just the thought of telling your mum that is worrying you ? or that you really don't want to leave home ?If it is the latter then i suggest you talk with your boyfriend and sooner rather than later before youve committed yourself any further,if it's your mum your worried about well the same applies you need to talk to sit down and talk this through with her GOOD LUCK

Go for it you cant stay at home forever and your going to need to do it at some point and this seems like the perfect time since you loved the flat. Good Luck!

Depends on your age doesn't it, huh!
If your friends think you are both old enough, perhaps its time to talk to mum. Who else is gonna do ya laundry till you can afford to buy a washing machine.

It depends on how old you are, how serious your relationship is, how far away you are moving.
You can't always be thinking about your mother (unless she has a health problem). You have to be independent and live your own life.

Tell her that you're going to move out, but you're not going far away and that you'll visit her often. Now go out and have some fish and chips and relax.

Doesn't really sound as if you have the maturity to leave home yet.

Best wait a while.

Trust your mum and tell her that you really love it and you would appreciate it if she did too. Your mum will love you no matter what.
