Amen, brother.

Organized crime.

I wonder if the Christians know that "amen" is a pagan derivative. Egyptian gods and goddess were amens or amons.

Your question is full of assumptions and predisposed notions. I really don't know if you will really care for an answer.

Of course, money is involved in religion (if that's what you mean about looting) because any organization has to depend on funds.

Now tyranny - maybe you are sick and tired about the rules that religion imposes on people.

Unless you have personally experienced God -then religion will simply mean nothing to you.

(Christianity is only one religion, but if you insist on lumping them together) 1. It isn't tyranny, because no one forces you to follow it. It is a choice. 2. Though there are a few exceptions, most religious groups (including churches) use the money for good causes. First, the church has to support itself and its pastors and other employees. They have bills to pay like everyone else. They also spend a large amount of the money they take in for missions and other charities. Most allow you to check their financial records if you don't believe it. 3. You are encouraged to give (or tithe) to the church, but that, too is your choice. Whether or not you give, or how much, is between you and God.

Well, you asked, so I'll answer. Who's forcing you to go to church? Are you under some tyrannical power that we don't know about?
Tell you what: We'll spare you of the lecture if you spare us from these lame, hate-driven questions.
If you're wondering why we give money to our churches, read some of the previous answers. Churches still need money to function. Also, we abide by the rule of tithe: Malachi 3:10 "Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse..." which refers to tithe and the blessings of being generous. We give to other causes including charity and mission work.
And just to clarify to the other answerer: The word "amen" comes from the word "aman", which is a Hebrew derivative, meaning "to confirm".

They brainwash the children at any early age, so they can be manipulated the rest of their lives. Professors of Religious Studies claim there are 10,000 different religions in the world. Each thinks their religion is right, and the others are wrong. Religion turns people into unquestioning robots and slaves.

could you be more specific, there are almost 3,000 diff religions in the world with vast differences in dogma. Sure there are some that can be seen as tyrannical however there are lots more that are not.

You are obviously a person who hates any form of religion. But that it is def impossible for anyone not to have any form of religion. Even atheist by their own admission are religious towards their own belief of a non existent Deity. Even they can be very religious in their preaching about that belief.

Yes, it is. But kind of small in comparison with the US present administration. And if you note, it's ridiculous to put the Democrats on the same page with the present tyranny of government and the powerful religions backing them.

A lot of mainstream organized religion certainly is... just turn on The 700 Club for an hour for proof.

But there are a lot of churches that actually function the way they are supposed to... to support people's spiritual health and general well-being.

Personal spirituality itself is source for good in the world... and it doesn't cost a thing to have beliefs and live by them.

If you explore history, god and religion have been the leading causes of Death, war, and violence, etc...furthermore in involves every major religion known to man, not just christianity, all because of the God question. What leader in what religion has not had a self appointed tyrannical leader?
Jesus did not self appoint, although he is seen as the corner stone and key symbol of the christian world.

Yes, it is--although I liken it to a big fat tool of tyranny which they try to stick up our heiny holes as close to birth as possible so we'll never know the very uncomfortable feeling emanating from our backsides is anything but normal.
