i believe that it should be legalized. This will keep the dealers at bay and the addicts will get a chance of legally seeking medical treatment for their addiction.
am i right?

i am a heroin and cocaine addict. i have been clean for 21 years. my addiction caused me to do things that put me in prison for five years. no matter how you look at it these drugs will make you do things that no decent person would think of doing while sober. if you legalize them you will still have people robbing and killing to get their next fix, trust me i know first hand. the only true answer to winning a war on drugs is education. if we as a society start to tolerate any drug abuse then we as a society lose. i will never support a plan to legalize any dangerous drug as my children are at risk if i do.

Nope, the addicts already get free dope at the clinic. Have you been living under a rock or what?

As for the dealers, well, they will just move on to the next thing, its the lifestyle that drives them, not the product.

I do think we should stop the "war on drugs", a huge waste of money and resources.

Holland already tried legalizing weed, and it failed miserably. It is now the most drug-inflicted country in Europe. Problem is, if you start legalizing drugs, you are basically telling the kids that it is OK to do drugs.

Also, drugs makes you post about subjects that have nothing to do with religion/spirituality under religion/spirituality.

Well if you want more people to kill them selves I guess so. No drugs that can harm a life should be legalized. Prevention is a very positive thing. More people should get high of life and the pursuit of God. Not Drugs, we find ourselves giving up and giving in too easily.

You do heroin and it will consume you.
I've had friends on it. Two are dead, overdosed. One worked 7 days a week. He had to steal 6 TVs every day to support it.

i think the question should be "Do you think we should be able to shoot smack head junkies that break into our homes and steal all our SH*T to feed their drug addiction?" think about it...
