Hey everyone, I'm just about to join a colege to study journalism, would anyone please advice me on which website I can find articles, journals or anything that can make me improve my english and even make me familiar on what it takes to be a journalist..........I really need journalism articles that I can download for free but I dont seem to be getting any. I would really appriciate your help. Thank you

First off, read A LOT. Not the web; read BOOKS. The web, even the academic sites, have notoriously crappy English. Read magazines, even, though you might want to stick with literary ones if you're trying to improve your English.

Also, there are good books in your library about Journalism, and books by journalists, like Hunter S. Thompson, H.L. Menken, David Barry--just READ. Use the LIBRARY.

I would read The Wall Street Journal. It has the best writing of any national newspaper. It is clean, concise, and relatively objective. The subject matter is often unique and captivating (prairie dog vacuums, etc).

hi.. tell me.. are u gonna join asian college of journalism? anyways..
the best way to prepare urself is to read editorials from as many newspapers as possible, most importantly Hindu,Times of India, Telegraph etc.
