I have put on 3 stone in a year this is due to a strict diet and a good workout plan.
eat plenty of carbs but only until four PM
your carbs should NEVER be white, except for jacket potatoes. so that's brown pasta brown rice and sweet potatoes, Brown bread also!
for breakfast eat Porridge with a scoop of protein powder and brown toast, piece of fruit.
mid morning have a protein shake and fruit.
lunch have tuna and cous cous/ pasta and salad and a piece of fruit
post workout/mid afternoon take on more protein and a piece of fruit.
evening meal high protein NO carbs
before bed try to take colostrum (a protein derived from cow's milk post birth!) mmmm if not take another protein shake.
beware dairy and nuts as these (Although good for you in small quantities) can pile on bodyfat.
You need to be working out hard too lifting as much weight as you can.
I do one set of a maximum of twelve reps of each exercise
5 diferent exercises for the major muscle groups and two-three for the smaller ones. do a 3 day split. Form is important and the movement should be blasted out but very controlled over as long a time as possible on the return.
Mon- chest and tris
Wed- Back and Bis
Fri- Legs and shoulders.
Cardio is important but keep the heart rate low. this burns fat. do twenty mins on weights days and forty mins on non weights days
this can be split over a few diferent pieces of equipment not too many you dont want a dip in your HR.
I also found that payin ten pounds for a half hour session with my personal Trainer once a month helped me keep form well and motivation. especially since he would measure my body fat with callipers on these occasions!
The exercise is something that you need to find personally. My body reacts to over training very easily resulting in weight loss. I was 9.5st for such a long time now I am 12.5st and reaching my goal of 14st is within grasp! it will take time but dont lose heart.

Your carbohydrates are perhaps being consumed by stress, even though you may not be aware of it.
Here is a diet formulated to cope particularly with this condition:
This is a specially formulated diet designed to help women
cope with the stress that builds during the day.

i've recently gone from 12.6 stone down to 7.12 stne not healthy i know but theirs a history behind it, i've just started putting some of my weight back on just to avoid being put into hospital. because mt tummy has shrunk i've found it very hard and still have days when i don't eat, the best method i've found is to go to the gym most days because after ive been to the gym i always feel hungry which encourages me to eat something, my tummy started to get bigger now but i will admit it's hard, sometimes you have to physically force yourself to eat.

I'm one too.
Keep working out (every other day, not every day), eat healthy (to build muscle) eat salty things and drink lots of water (to gain water weight), and don't stop. One whole day doesn't do it. You have to keep doing it.

You can use weight gain products like 'Creatine'. You can buy it in powder form that you make into drinks. You can buy it on ebay relatively cheaply.

Sounds like you have naturally high metabolism. But then again, why do you want to fatten up? Gaining weight is not about fattening up - that's unhealthy.
