Christians assume their right without question or finding out the facts.

I just think you should find out about your religion before you blindly follow what you are tought.

And someone give me a logical answer of why you believe what you believe. Not just the have faith without thinking about it crap. Know your facts before even trying to start a religious fight with me.

Im trying to talk to the Cristians who try to preach their religion to others. Im not saying all Christians are bad people. Im talking to the ones who say all other religions are wrong and just assume their right without questioning anything.

Fundamentalist Christians believe they're right because they've been told from a young age that they're right and that everyone else is wrong. Furthermore, they've been told they'll be persecuted for their beliefs so they look for it to happen, and when someone disagrees with them they see that as persecution.

I agree with you, what good is a belief if you never question it?

There is no "logical answer" to religious belief. Religion belongs to the relm of the metaphysical. God cannot be proven to exist or proven not to exist. For this reason, religion is not going to disappear any time soon.

Instead of dispairing over this, why don't you recognize that not all Christians are insane fundamentalists? You'll be happier if you stop thinking and speaking in unfair generalities about large groups of people.

do you earnestly want an answer to this question, or do you just want to point a finger at christianity? with a question so weak, rhetorical and vague, you are inviting a religious fight.

any religion, in fact every religion, in order to survive, has to believe it is right. also, religions are born as much out of history as they are of spirituality. and with history being rewritten time and again by the ruler of that time and place, error is inevtiable.

what is more important is the message of the religion.

every religion says theirs is the right way, and in that they are right. but when they say theirs is the only way, they are wrong.

How about not generalizing Christians before trying to start an e-peen scuffle?

Not all Christians are bible thumping fundamentalists. That's like saying all Muslims are suicide bombers.

christians do not assume, if they are real christians.... i cannot speak for the fringe types.... but the authority of the true believer comes from the word of god. So it is god that has the authority, and christians just obey him, and present His word to others. God is the authority.
